So since I have been neglecting the website lately I thought I would start off with something that everyone here could appreciate.
Remember the group that put on the Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses? Well now they're doing Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions! The tour will premiere August 15th in Washington DC with the 2014 Pokemon World Championships following on the 16th and 17th. There is only one other show announced right now but there will be more to come in the following days. To find out more Click Here!
Okay so I am really excited about that, I went to the Symphony of the Goddesses and it was breath taking, the only thing I wish they did was they needed to professionally record the music and sell it on iTunes or something. I will be going to this as soon as they announce a show close enough to me!
Next we have more news on Hyrule Warriors. First off we got confirmation of the first Pre-Order DLC for the game, Twilight Princess outfits. I always thought Twilight Princess was one of the best looking Zelda games and I am kind of sad and newer Zelda games hasn't had this dark grim environmental style to it... but I am still excited for Zelda U!
Next we have confirmation on new playable characters! First off is a new girl named Lana, who hasn't appeared in a Zelda game before but maybe after this game Nintendo will give her a role. She is a magic user and create barriers and objects and use lightning based magic.
Still doubtful? Well here is a video from the official website showing her in battle.
I think she looks awesome, and it'll be interesting to see how she interacts with the rest of the characters in the game. Lana actually is supposedly the recruiter of the next new character, Agitha from Twilight Princess.
The self proclaimed "Princess of Bugs" appears as a playable character in the game. According to the website she uses magical like spirits that appear in the shape of bugs. This so far includes butterflies and giant beetles.
For more information on this game check out the website by Clicking Here! Also I would like to point out in the video showcasing Lana at the end of the video is shows three different pre-order bonuses and I am more than positive the DLC will come Westside but I'm not too sure about the chest and scarf but that would be awesome!
Now onto our last bit of news, Nintendo of Europe announces the first Cross Buy game for Wii U and 3DS!
This is amazing news but there is still some confusion about the promotion. The promotion is that if you purchase the game on your 3DS you can download it for free off of your Wii U as long as the two Nintendo Network ID's are the same. I'm curious to know if it works the other way too, if I purchase it on my Wii U do I get to download for free on my 3DS? Currently this promotion is only in Nintendo of Europe but this now proves that it is indeed possible so now Indie developers need to start taking advantage of this so Nintendo can follow suit. I've been wondering since day one why I can't have Virtual Console titles on my 3DS but I can't also just redownload them instead of paying for it, I mean I already bought it.
So this was a lot of news to take in but I kind of like writing the lengthy articles. I may start doing this once a week unless I find some hot rumor or they drop some huge news like a confirmation in a new character for Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros. or anything to do with Zelda U. Which reminds me, there is speculation that the new Zelda U game will see multiplayer, what do you think? Thanks for reading and remember to keep playing!
