Mighty No. 9: Overview and New Playable Character

Hey Gamers!

We got more news on Mighty No. 9. There have been a lot of updates recently that I haven't covered so before we start I want to show you what you may have missed. They have announced the other Mighty Numbers 1 through 8 which are the main bosses. The pictures (taken from the main website) are below.

One thing I notice right off the bat is that these bosses look intimidating and they are look really deadly. The story line is that these 8 and Beck were created as a family of robots known as the Mighty Numbers. In the year 20XX robotic technology has become a stable, causing the economy to crash which creates a socialist community that uses robots to fulfill work and labor so that humans can live in everlasting peace. With this peace they decided to create the "Battle Colosseum" which is where the Mighty Numbers come in. These 8 shown above are the best of the best and are beloved by fans everywhere... but one day there was an act of cyber terrorism; A virus infects them which causes them to become crazed and rampant. The crazed Mighty Numbers take over main facilities and utilities and Beck, who wasn't infected, is the only hope.

So this game's storyline is essentially Megaman, but the bosses are a lot more serious and intimidating kind of like Megaman X bosses. I'm so excited for this spiritual successor, I still hate that I didn't have money at the time of the Kick Starter, but I'll be showing my support by buying it on every console I own! And are last bit of new regarding Mighty No. 9 is the new playable character!

I really like the picture of Call on the bike cause it reminds me of Rush from Megaman, but I couldn't find anywhere that said that it was an official robot pet assistant or something. Also take notice to the backpack, jetpack thing she has on. I guess that will be her special power or how she jumps.
