Mario Kart 8 & Mercedes-Benz

Hey Gamers!

So today Mercedes-Benz and Nintendo announced a weird partnership to include Mercedes-Benz in Mario Kart 8. First off check out the commercial below.



That was a pretty awesome commercial, at least in my opinion. Could this also be hinting at a new live action movie with Mario? I'm not sure about you guys but I would love to see a dark and gritty reboot of Mario kind of like The Dark Knight. I know a lot of movies are doing that, but if done right it could be very epic. The Goomba in the video did look really weird though. Also when you think about it, it's kind of hilarious that Mario just runs everything over in his path when he has star power in the car. I'd love to see a mini-game made out of the too on the e-Shop.

Okay so I got a little side tracked. I personally love the fact of how much Nintendo is reaching out to other parties to make new stuff for Nintendo games, like in April we got the Pokemon Google Maps Challenge, then we got Hyrule Warriors, Megaman in Smash Bros. and much more. I would like to see where this continues to go, maybe an Alien and Metroid crossover movie and maybe we might even start to see comic books and tv shows of our beloved characters sort of like the new Sonic Boom series.
