So today Nintendo had their newest Nintendo Direct and it was entirely Super Smash Bros related. So according to the Nintendo Direct the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is due to be released in the summer and the one for the Wii U will be released in the winter. In today's video they confirmed many returning veteran characters, Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Zelda, Shiek and Yoshi, but there is a twist. Characters that used to transform to other characters mid-battle no longer transform. When Samus uses her Final Smash she now cools off and continues to fight in her suit. Zero Suit Samus is a select-able character now and she has been given Jet Boots (High Heels really). Zelda has now been given a Down-B that summons a Iron Nut, this idea has been taken from Spirit Tracks when Zelda possesses an Iron Nut. Shiek also has a Down-B which is some acrobatics move; and now Yoshi is now standing upright (Similar to Bowser). This Nintendo Direct has also revealed a lot with Stages, Pokemon, Assist Trophies, Game Modes, Version Exclusives and many, many more. Here is the video so you can enjoy everything in all detail. So yeah they revealed a poop-ton of stuff in this Nintendo Direct and it's going to be awesome!
