Wii U Gets First DS Virtual Console in Japan

Hey Gamers!
That's right! Japan got it's first Nintendo DS Virtual Console game today and it was Brain Age. I used to own the first Brain Age, the game was actually pretty cool. I got really into it for like a month and then never played it again. So I have a few questions. Are we ever going to see an adapter that lets you play DS games on Wii U? Well if you guys remember back to a really old post of mine about the rumored new Nintendo systems apparently the next one is actually going to include a 3DS slot on the system itself so it shouldn't be too hard to make one for the Wii U. My next question is when does this come to America? We will probably learn more at e3; and my last question: Why is this not on 3DS?! First they release GBA Virtual Console on Wii U and not 3DS even though the 3DS can run virtual console as proven by the Ambassador Program and we already know the 3DS can read DS games cause you can stick them in the top. I can maybe understand why DS games on not on 3DS virtual console cause maybe with the ability to actually read the games it can't also emulate them and I could understand that, but Nintendo come on you need to bring GBA over to 3DS soon.

What do you guys think? Fire them off below and remember to keep playing!

  1. It's bound to happen. Right now, the 3DS seems to be doing ok on its own. Nintendo is putting there efforts into the WII U and newer games in general at the moment. But once that picks up more, they'll focus their efforts into other things such as Virtual Console.

As for the DS virtual console, do remember the GBA player for the Gamecube? I don't see why they can't release a peripheral similar to it for the WII U. I mean that was one of the first things I thought of when I saw the controller.

    1. That is true, I'm pretty sure the 3DS isn't having problems selling especially since they released the 2DS as well. They are always bound to reveal something crazy at e3.
