Smash Invitational and Gamecube Adapter

Hey Gamers!
So check out this video for the Smash Invitational!

At the end of this video they announced the Gamecube adapter!

Nintendo announced this new adapter so you can use Gamecube controllers on the Wii U. So what does this mean? For those players who are uncomfortable using a Wiimote or Wiimote Nunchuck combo don't have to worry anymore. It is unknown if the adapter will be usable for other games like Mario Kart 8 and if the controller in the picture will be for sale.

Now let's take a few steps back and think for a second. Remember those Pre-3 leaks? Do you remember the one saying that Nintendo will unveil Gamecube virtual console for Wii U? Will this is making that look more like a truth, if that is true then we will be playing Mario Kart Double Dash, F-Zero GX, Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine soon again this year but on Wii U. I really hope they integrate online for Double Dash and GX, especially since Double Dash did have an online mode when it came out, but no one had a Broadband and Modem adapter for their Gamecube.
