Upcoming Next Gen Games (Spring/Summer)

Hey Gamers!

This is an article straight from Nerdy or Die Reviews on some new upcoming games for the PS4 and Xbox One. Check them out!

Child of Light (Release Date: April 30, 2014)

Child of Light is an RPG game. The story behind Child of Light is that the Black Queen has stolen the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars. You plays as Aurora, a young princess with a pure heart whose soul is brought to the kingdom of Lemuria. You embark on a quest to recapture the three sources of light, defeat the Black Queen and restore the kingdom of Lemuria (Source: IGN) After watching game play of Child of Light, it caught my interest from the start and I'm usually a FPS player. The graphics are amazing and the game play looks simple but addicting. The soundtrack is very promising which makes it worth all the more worthwhile. Check out this video of game play and give me your thoughts!

Watch Dogs (Release Date: May 27, 2014)

Watch Dogs is an open-world action game. This game has had many delays with an original release date of Fall 2013 so I'm ready to play it. This game looks absolutely amazing. IGN gives us a brief description of the game and describes it as a game set in Chicago, where a central network of computers connects everyone and everything. Watch Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society. Using the city as your weapon, you will embark on a personal mission to inflict your own brand of justice. Chicago's overarching network known as the Central Operating System (ctOS), and it controls almost all of the city's technology and information - including key data on all of the city's residents. You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. While seeking justice for those events, you'll monitor and hack those around you by manipulating the ctOS from the palm of your hand. You'll access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy and many more (Source: IGN) You basically get to control any and every kind of technology there is out there and this game can show much we rely on technology in society today. Check out this game play trailer here and give me your thoughts!

These are two games that I am most looking forward to coming out in April and May of 2014. These games are both for PS4 and Xbox One so make sure to pick them up! I will make another post closer to the end of April beginning of May about the games I'm looking forward to for June and July.

Thanks to Nerdy or Die Reviews for this awesome article! I can't wait for the games either, but first I need to get a next gen system! What do you guys think about these games? Which system are you gonna get them for? Remember to Keep Playing!
