Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time

This has to be one of my favorite games, especially since when I was a kid I loved TMNT and video games so naturally when I played this game it was awesome! Before this one I played the original arcade version and the original TMNT on NES. Just for an overview of what these games are I'll post the cartridge art and some screen shots.

The game had an overview like this, and whenever you went into the potholes, you'd go into a side scrolling part like this:

Both parts of the game had enemies for any one that has played them they probably remember the bulldozers the most because they would just squash you and kill you.

The next game I remember playing is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II Arcade Game:

This game was a true side scrolling fighter just like the arcade one. This one was always praised more than the original, if you've played them you know why if you haven't it's mainly because the first one is ridiculously hard with lack of items to make the game easier and the fact that monsters pretty much go everywhere and it's hard to hit them.

Also just a fun fact, I had the TMNT handheld game made by Tiger Electronics and played it a bunch:

First Stage

The game is pretty much the story line from the third movie, Shredder has found a time machine and has sent his minions into the past along with the Turtles in hopes to destroy the Turtles and take over the world. You play as one of the four turtles and you go through different parts in time and fight different minions like you fight Baxter Stockman's Fly form in Manhattan. The game is fun and simple and it doesn't require much skill to perfect. The joy of old games you could put just about any game into your SNES and play it right off the bat.

I encourage you to play this even if it might be a ROM (I didn't say it haha)
