For this post I decided I would do something a little different. So there is tons of hype over Pokemon right now with the introduction of Pokemon X and Y coming out on the 3DS in October worldwide. For those of you that don't know these are the new entries into generation 6 of Pokemon. The three starters, the two legendaries, and a new Eeveelution have all been released.

Okay now getting onto the theories. So with the introduction of these games there have been many theories of what the games are going to have; like new Pokemon characters, gym leaders, items, possibly moves, and even rumored new types. First I'm going into my first theory because this is the only one I have thought of on my own.
Remember the DNA Splicer in Pokemon Black and White 2? You could use it to fuse Kyurem with either Reshiram or Zekrom to get White or Black Kyurem respectively. Well after this introduction of Pokemon fusion I feel like they will start to use this a lot more. There are already tons of Pokemon that could be fused together: The Machop family with the Timburr family. Tympole family with the Poliwag family. The Abra family with the Solosis family. So you get the basic idea, Pokemon with similar "genetic makeup" could be fused together to make new and stronger Pokemon of the same type. I have also always imagined a fusion between Seviper and Zangoose, Durant and Heatmor, and even Throh and Sawk. DNA Splicing could very well be the use for the creation of Genesect also. If they introduced the DNA Splicer again in X and Y the evil gang could have stolen the blueprints from Team Plasma or the device itself and then improved it to make it more efficient. I can imagine the evil team being based off scientists and their uniform has DNA spirals on it or something. The thing about this theory is that it's very well possible, the new games are called Pokemon X and Y. X and Y are two letters used in genetics to determine gender. Also if any of you watched the Japanese release video of Pokemon X and Y there is a DNA Helix in the title:

The original idea of Pokemon was suppose to be genetically modified animals or combinations of animals and different natural phenomenons so they might be going back to their original idea.
Also there was a picture posted a while ago that compares the legendaries to different germ layers found in animals. I'll post the link here so you can read it because I did not come up with this theory:

The last theory I have is the theory of the two new Types of Light and Sound. When they first announced the new Eeveelution I immediately thought of a light type. Again I do not own this theory so I will post the link here:
